KOL Management

For clinics, KOL work is not about reach. It is about who is allowed to say what regarding a medical procedure, and how to prove the partnership produced patients.

Our angle

Our KOL briefs include clauses that protect the clinician's licence

When a KOL makes a medical claim on your clinic's behalf, the exposure lands on the clinic, not the KOL. Our contracts carry a medical claim prohibition, a paid disclosure requirement, a ban on framing results as guaranteed, and the clinic's right to take content down. That section is almost never present in a standard endorsement package.

Why clinic endorsements often feel like wasted money

  1. 01KOLs picked on follower count rather than audience city distribution. A Surabaya clinic pays for a Greater Jakarta audience.
  2. 02No tracked link or unique code, so nobody knows how many bookings resulted.
  3. 03Content posted once then gone, never amplified as a paid ad.
  4. 04No compliance clause, so the clinic carries the risk of someone else's words.
  5. 05Full payment upfront with no performance condition at all.

Approach

The order of work.

  1. 01

    Selection based on audience geography

We request audience city data before negotiating. For a single location clinic, a 20 thousand follower KOL with 60 percent same city audience almost always beats a scattered 200 thousand follower account on cost per booking.

  2. 02

    Compliant brief and contract

The brief explicitly lists sentences that cannot be spoken, bans framing results as guaranteed, and requires paid partnership disclosure.

  3. 03

    Measurement through to booking

Each KOL gets a tagged WhatsApp link and a unique code recorded at booking, so contributions can be compared side by side.

  4. 04

    Amplify the winners

Top performing content is promoted as whitelisted ads on Meta and Spark Ads on TikTok, using permissions already secured in the contract.

What you receive

  • KOL long list and short list with audience city distribution data
  • Rate negotiation and contracts carrying compliance clauses
  • Creative brief per KOL
  • Tagged links and unique codes per KOL
  • Posting schedule coordination and pre publication content review
  • Cost per booking comparison report across KOLs

What we measure

  • Cost per booking per KOL

The basis for continuing or stopping in the next cycle.

  • Same city audience share

Filtered before contracting, not regretted afterwards.

  • Content compliance

Every piece reviewed before posting. Target is zero breaches.

How we calculate →

When not to

We do not take KOL work that asks content to present treatment results as a guarantee, or asks a KOL to pose as a patient who never visited.

Questions

Before you ask.

How many KOLs make sense for one campaign?

For a single location clinic we usually start with five to eight micro KOLs in one wave, then continue only with the two or three showing the best cost per booking. Spreading across 20 at once leaves too little data to judge anyone.
